Biography.
 

Andrée Prigent is a French illustrator and author of children's books, born in Brest. After graduating from the Beaux-Arts in Rennes, she worked as an author and illustrator for children's publishing. 

She experiments with a variety of techniques like paper cut-outs, linocuts, stencils and paint.

Her world is full of animals, as in “Poto le chien” (2017) and “Ours et les choses” (2020).

She was part of the 2023 traveling youth literature festival Les Troubadours in the United States. 

In 2024, she contributed to the poetry book Émotions in collaboration with Orianne Lallemand, Alex Cousseau, Eléonore Thuillier, Édouard Manceau, Hervé Le Goff, Clotilde Perrin and Philippe Lechermeier.
